“I’ve played music for more than 30 years, yet voice was the one instrument that never felt natural. Working with Will has changed that. From our first lesson he put me at ease, and my ongoing sessions with him remain a highlight of my week. His deep knowledge and genuine passion for teaching come through every time, and his enthusiasm is contagious. It’s also neat to watch true craft in action: Will never just runs through a routine—he listens intently, diagnoses what my voice needs in that moment, and tailors what we're doing in response. That individual attention makes every lesson feel both personal and highly effective, and it’s clear he’s guiding, not merely instructing. A++ highly recommended.”

“I have been taking lessons with Will for almost 6 months now, and I highly value his wide range of knowledge on a variety of musical topics. Since my interests vary greatly, from wanting to improve my vocals, to learning guitar, or even music production, Will's abundance of useful and actionable advice is always helpful!”

“Will is awesome! He is very personable, and will work with any level of skill. He is very good at breaking down each component of what you are doing, and explaining how to improve. Each lesson with Will is a ton of fun and I couldn't recommend him any higher to anyone looking to work with a coach.”

“I have been taking vocal lessons with Will for over seven years, and I have only good things to say about the experience. He is a kind, knowledgeable, and energetic teacher. He has improved my singing so much and is a genuinely wonderful person. I can't recommend him enough!”

“Will is a fantastic vocal teacher! I’ve gone from terrified of singing to confidently belting out songs at work karaoke events. And lessons are always a fun time, singing my favorite songs, with Will finding unique and interesting ways for me to learn new techniques.”

“I used to be a semi-professional singer, but took some years off vocal training due to school, a full time corporate gig, life, etc. I finally knew I wanted to get back to what I loved doing, but I knew I was terribly rusty, my range had shortened, and I had formed some bad habits from drunk Karaoke. But that’s when I found Will! After a quick google search, I found him on a Reddit comment and reached out.
He is so great. My adhd and lack of social awareness doesn’t bother him at all, he goes with the flow, jokes along with me, and although he’s more used to teaching new singers, he didn’t even flinch when we had to shift his teaching to fit what I needed. The way he explains things helps me picture exactly what I need to do physically to produce the sound I am looking for. 100% worth it, and I’ve definitely rebounded faster than I thought back to where I was 5 years ago.”

“I've tried multiple forms of music lessons both in school and private, Will is the only teacher that I've stuck with. Clear and concise while willing to explain in other ways, while being lighthearted as a person but willing to focus on so many areas of music. When I say lighthearted that doesn't mean the learning takes a back seat, he can easily keep things on track. (I would know, I'm a yapper) Makes the lessons worth every penny so I can actually focus on my learning. Hoping to stick around for ages.”

“Will is a fantastic teacher, and it is obvious that he enjoys what he's doing. I take voice lessons with him twice a week, and not only is he patient with my anxiety quirks, he is down to practice any (level-appropriate) song. Every time I've picked one, he gets psyched up about it; it's motivating when your teacher enjoys the obscure song in a foreign language that you've picked. He is great at offering songs that I like, even if they're brand new to me, and every lesson there's a focus plan in mind for tone, support, rhythm, pitch, and focused repetition.
We also do song analysis occasionally -- can I say music theory? -- it's a blast because he's listening to a random song on the spot and eager to teach whatever contextually clever/weird/talented thing that the songwriter did. Finally, with my being a full-time working adult, he understands that real life can interfere with study, so if I've made no progress or regressed (haha) he's casual about it.
13/10, would recommend to anyone to try at least a few lessons to see if you're a good combo. I was super lucky that the very first teacher I found on reddit (of all places haha) was a brilliant match for me and my parasite/sidekick, anxiety. No matter how grumpy I am before a lesson, I always end the lesson in a good mood. I don't think there's anything else to ask for in a teacher.”

“Will is the man! I’ve made great progress and my band members can tell the difference. I have a lot more fun now and my confidence has massively increased. We run through vocal exercises and songs every week and Will does a great job at explaining the mechanics of singing. Highly recommend!”

“Incredible lessons, I’m learning so much more than I thought I would.”

“When I first met Will I was a self taught guitarist of 30 years that knew very little music theory. He was so patient with my decades of bad habits and taught me a ton about scales and timing. What’s great about Will is throughout our overcoming of my guitar muscle memory he still encouraged me to be me in how I play. After spending two years on guitar Will helped me transition to a gig ready bassist in a matter of months. I am not sure what my next instrument will be but I am certain that my first call will be to Will when I decide.”

“After a long sabbatical from playing guitar I decided to dedicate more time to the instrument and began taking lessons with will. Will helped reinforce and expand upon my theoretical background. Most importantly he has helped me to play musically and with feeling. He is passionate, patient and uniquely talented. I cant thank him enough for the positive impact he has had on my playing.”

“I've been working with Will for only a month and a half and have already seen large improvements. He explains techniques very well and gives great examples to help you understand them. I have been trying to learn to sing for a while from youtube videos with no success, but I am very happy I made the decision to try taking lessons from will. I will be continuing to do so.”

”Will is a well rounded musician with knowledge of a wide range of musical styles, from rock to classical, and customizes lessons based on what you want to learn. He is able to explain complex subjects like music theory in a way which is both understandable and focused on practical application. “Will is an experienced voice teacher who is dedicated to his students’ growth. He is very knowledgeable, for example in areas such as breath control, pitch, body vs. head voice, and increasing range. He is flexible, like when life happens, and best of all he is fun!”

“Will is clearly very experienced musically, he worked with me to identify my goals and develop my interests in keyboard, songwriting and theory. Very easy to work with and funny too. He knows music very well, but at the same time is great at breaking the lesson down in a way that matches your experience level. Highly recommend.”

“I started playing guitar when I was 14, but never felt totally satisified with my lessons. After picking back up at 28 with Will on a whim, I really felt like he helped fill in the blanks on the theory and how to make the sounds I could hear but couldn't play. I'm super thankful to have him helping me on my guitar journey!”
